Corporate Information

The Manila Times College (TMTC) is the brainchild of Dr. Dante A. Ang, who in 2001 revived The Manila Times - the longest running English-language newspaper in the country.

TMTC is the only school run by professional journalists. Its faculty is composed of experienced print and broadcast experts headed by veteran print journalist Benjamin Defensor as the dean.

TMTC is also the only school that provides hands-on training in print and broadcast from day one. Print journalism students are exposed to the editorial facilities as well as the printing press of The Manila Times. Broadcast journalism students are provided high-end ratio and television facilities for practical application of broadcast theories and concepts.
